Reiki Level 1 Class:
The focus of Level One is on self-healing and helping others.
This level covers:
- History of Reiki
- Benefits and Principles of Reiki
- The Chakra System
- Reiki for animals and children
- Hand positions for self-healing
- Correct posture and body positions while giving a session
- Specific techniques to make a session most effective and enjoyable
- Learning how to provide a session for others, with hands on practice
- Level 1 Reiki Attunement ceremony
- A Certificate of Completion + Manual
In this foundational class, you will gain a deeper understanding of energy work and how it can positively impact your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
We cover the theory, benefits and principles of Reiki and give ample time to learn hands on techniques. By the end of the day, you’ll leave having practiced self-reiki and be experienced in giving a session to others.
At the Reiki Energy School, we intentionally keep classes small so students feel seen, supported, and able to create meaningful connections. In partnered hands-on practice, we teach clear safe-touch guidelines so students feel comfortable, confident, and well-prepared to offer sessions to others.
Your teacher Lindsay-Rose has:
– over 25 years of lived experience in Reiki and energy work
– 17 years in a full-time professional client practice
– taught over 250 classes and workshops focused on energy & intuition
– trained over 800 students & participants
– both scientific & spiritual educational backgrounds
– a joyful & playful energy, blending laughter, depth, and inspiration throughout each class
The Fine Details:
Course Fee: $299 ($284.76 + 5% tax)
Length: 1 day – 9:30 am – 6:30 pm – 9 hours
Location: 714 Discovery Street, Victoria BC – 2nd Floor
Class Size: 3-6 students
* This course meets the required 8 hours of training to apply to the Canadian Reiki Association.

First come, first reserved:
A seat can only be reserved for you once full payment is received. We are not able to hold one for you, or do payment plans. Payments can be made instantly with credit card, paypal, etransfer or cheque + cash drop off can be pre-arranged.
Jake Dog:
“Reiki Jake” is my beloved dog who is in attendance in our classes. If you have a concern about his presence and your own allergies or fear of dogs, please contact us BEFORE registering to discuss this.
Winter Travel:
For those travelling via ferry, airplane or down the Malahat on Hwy 1 from up island, please know winter weather can be impactful (snow, icy roads, delayed ferry or flights… etc) and can prevent you from getting to class the day of the training. Refunds will not be given due to weather conditions (unless I cancel entire class) and rescheduling fees to change classes in these last minute circumstances will be implemented. Consider waiting to attend class in the Spring Semester.
Accessibility:
The Reiki Energy School is located on the 2nd floor of a heritage building. Access to the second floor is by 2 sets of stairs, one outdoors, one indoors and no elevator.
– There is one private gender neutral washroom upstairs.
– The first floor has a shared foyer with a licensed sports clubhouse sometimes open during our class hours. A faint aroma of alcohol maybe lingering in the foyer, but this smell is not present on the second floor where we are.
Location & Parking:
Location Transparency: Our office shares the neighbourhood with people who may be experiencing substance use disorders and homelessness. The safety and well-being for all students and clients is important to us, and want to assure you that instances of violence or crime are very rare.
Parking – On Sunday classes, there is free street parking directly out front of building and on the surrounding streets.

My Karma Friendly Cancellation + Rescheduling Policy:
When you register and make your first payment, that’s my cue to block out a seat — and shoo other folks away if the class fills up. I prepare your 40+ page manual, craft your name tag and graduation certificate, and start brewing and meditating on the journey that’s about to begin… sometimes even holding you in mind while I’m stuck in traffic.
I invest in you — just like you invest in yourself by joining this class. And that’s why, with the exception of tsunamis, earthquakes, tornadoes, avalanches, pandemics, and emergency grief-stricken situations, I do not offer refunds for cancellations — which, to my delight, are fairly rare.
If you’re in a tight spot and need to reschedule, please get in touch as soon as possible (email or 250-595-1985). This helps me re-jig the class and potentially open a seat for another lovely human who wants to attend. With advance notice, I’ll hold your payment for up to one year so you can join a future class. Because commitment is sexy — and rescheduling takes extra time and energy — a $50 rescheduling fee applies.
If less than 48 hours (2 days) notice is given, the full registration fee is forfeited and a new registration will be required.
If you’re feeling unwell with any cold, flu, or Covid symptoms, please stay home (there may be immunocompromised students present) and make the responsible choice to reschedule.
